Morgan Hill, CAThe ALR-1400 interface controller from Digital View
is designed to be a highly integrated PC, DVI and Video interface controller for TFT LCD panels. Engineered for ease of implementation and high-volume production, the ALR-1400 is a plug-and-play product that enables a range of basic monitor functions.
It provides multi-panel support and is preloaded with a wide range of panel timings supporting virtually all major manufacturers’ panels. Its mean time between failure (MTBF) rating is over 200,000 hours, and it offers connectivity support for all current video standards. The ALR-1400 measures 107mm x 92 mm (4.2” x 3.6”). It supports 4:3 format panels up to SXGA and 16:9 format panels up to WXGA resolution, with Digital View’s ULI Universal LVDS Interface, enabling the ALR-1400 to handle the wide range of LVDS interfaces found in current LCD panels, as well as dual- or single-pixel TTL interfaces.
Other key features include: up to 16.7 million colors supported using 8-bit digital data, on-screen display menu (OSD), function controls, image scaling (up/down to fit input to panel resolution), image control (brightness, contrast, RGB adjust, color temperature and gamma), and support for PWM inverters. The ALR-1400 is available now and priced at $100 in 1,000-unit quantities. Click here for the data sheet. Digital View, Inc, +1 408-782-7773, www.digitalview.com .
