LONDON Autodesk will not pursue its interest in simulation software group Flomerics (Hampton Court, England) leaving the field clear again for Mentor Graphics, who has a 29 percent stake in the British company and who has made several bids to take control.
The closing date for its bid, which values Flomerics at £25.5 million, is July 3. However, Flomerics reiterated again earlier this week that Mentor's offer is "wholly inadequate" and recommended shareholders to reject it.
Autodesk emerged as a possible rival bidder earlier this month.
