PARIS — French WiMAX chip supplier Sequans Communications SA (La Défense, France) announced Via Technologies, Inc. (Taipei, Taiwan) has selected its Mobile WiMAX chip technology for its eNote Turnkey solution, a 11.6" thin and light notebook.

Sequans Communication claimed that its WiMAX chip technology delivers high throughput with low power consumption via Sequans mimoMAX technology, which combines a maximum likelihood decoder on the downlink with two transmitters (2Tx) on the uplink.
