The software developers Mathworks and Vector Informatik said they will collaborate to make their development tools interoperable for developing Autosar applications.

The goal of the collaboration is to allow automotive software architects and software developers to design Autosar-compliant embedded software, the partners said.

MathWorks and Vector said they are working with users to identify additional opportunities to integrate their tools to design and implement Autosar applications.

Autosar (Automotive Open System Architecture) is an automotive industry standard software architecture developed by auto manufacturers, suppliers and tool developers.
