LONDON — Analog Devices Inc. (Norwood, Mass.) has created two groups as part of an organizational change. Both will be led by executives who began their careers with ADI in Ireland, where the company has had a presence for many years.

Vice president Robert (Robbie) McAdam leads the newly created Core Products and Technologies (CPT) group. This group is focused on selling converters and high-performance amplifiers, and growing the portfolio of RF, power, MEMS and DSP products.

Vincent Roche, who has served as vice president of Worldwide Sales for ADI since 2002, has now added responsibility for the Strategic Market Segments (SMS) group, which focuses on integrating ADI technology into products for automotive, industrial, medical, consumer, and communications infrastructure customers.

McAdam and Roche will report to ADI president and CEO Jerry Fishman.

"We are very fortunate to have two experienced and universally respected leaders in Robbie and Vincent, who know our business so well, have been important drivers of our success for many years, and are ready to take on these significantly expanded roles," said Fishman, in a statement.

McAdam has served as vice president of the analog semiconductor division since 1999 and has been the vice president responsible for ADI's analog technology since 1994. He joined Analog Devices in 1984 as a marketing manager in Limerick, Ireland. He earned a bachelor's degree in engineering and a master's degree in engineering from University College Dublin in Ireland.

Roche is responsible for direct customer sales, distribution, and e-commerce for all product lines, as well as corporate marketing and public relations. He began his career at ADI in 1988 as a senior marketing engineer in Limerick, Ireland. In 1994, he moved to the United States to run ADI's San Jose, California, operations. Roche earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Limerick University in Ireland.
